Zhu Dunru

After a shake I’ve cast of th’ shackles of worldliness,
And now at my own sweet will I get drunk, or sobre grow.
I love my bamboo hat, my palm-coat and my business,
And more oft than not I tread the frost and brave the snow.

Th’ wind calm at dusk, my fishing line resumes its serenity;
Either in th’ skies or waters is seen a new moon bright.
Boundless waters and skies merging into an entity,
A lonely wild goose is now in sight, now out of sight.
