Zhang Bi: To Someone in Dream ~ 《寄人》 张泌 with English Translations

《寄人》是唐末五代诗人张泌的作品。此诗是作者与情人别后的寄怀诗，描写梦境及梦醒后的情景，写出了诗人的相思之深切与苦怨。诗的首句写梦中重聚，难舍难离；二句写依旧当年环境，往日欢情；三句写明月有情，伊人无义；四句写落花有恨，慰藉无人。前两句写入梦的原因与梦中所见的景物，是向对方表明自己思忆之深；后两句写出多情的明月依旧照人，是对这位女子的埋怨之情。以明月有情，寄希望于对方，含蓄深厚，曲折委婉，真切感人，动人心弦。
