In Honor of Lingao Pavilion
Su Shi

Recluse scholar, Dongpo, has had enough of wine and food, leaning by the tea table as white clouds float in on the left and a clear creek flows around on the right. All the doors are thrown wide open, and trees and mountains come rushing in one after another. It is a time when you are thinking, but then of nothing definite, as if suddenly you found yourself blessed with the flavors of the whole universe. Embarrassing! Embarrassing!
