Liu Yuxi: Tidal Wave of the QianTang River ~ 《浪淘沙》 刘禹锡 with English Translations

《浪淘沙·八月涛声吼地来》是唐代文学家刘禹锡的词作（有人认为是诗）。作品描写的是八月十八的钱塘江大潮涨落的壮观景象。前二句描写涨潮情形，后二句描写退潮情形，写涨潮固然写出其势，写退潮实亦写出其力，显得形象生动、丰满多姿。
