Fan Yun: Ode to Winter Pine Trees ~ 《咏寒松》 范云 with English Translations

《咏寒松诗》是南朝齐、梁间诗人范云的诗词作品之一。范云以精巧的语言咏出寒松的节操与贞心，修条与密叶乃青松之形，劲节与贞心乃青松之神。青松傲雪独立，流经千年的岁月依然青翠挺拔。

修条拂层汉，密叶障天浔。
凌风知劲节，负雪见贞心。

Tall pine trees touch the Silver River,
Their thick leaves screen the heavenly light.
Their strong character appears in winds bitter,
Their high morals are shown under snow white.
